We spent two days in Sarojini Nagar in Lucknow attending the Bulbule Festival 2025. Although Lucknow is best known for its food, we came back with something else: a near-perfect recipe for putting together a festival that celebrates childhood.

You don’t have to follow it to the tee, but you might be surprised that you already have many of the key ingredients.
