EkStep and its ecosystem partners (over 35+ participants) systematically gathered insights from the field. We covered rural, semi-urban, and urban areas of Bangalore and Lucknow, representing different parts of the country. We engaged with families, including mothers, fathers, and grandparents of children aged 0-8 years, as well as children aged 6-12 years. These families came from diverse educational backgrounds, including government, affordable private, and expensive private schools. We also connected with adults in child care centers, educational institutions, and community spaces, as well as experts like doctors, ASHA workers, and shopkeepers catering to children.
