Libraries as Early Literacy Spaces
September 8 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Libraries have always been about access. But for children aged 3–6, they can be something more: a place where literacy begins before a child can read a single word. Join us for an online session exploring how librarians can use picture books, simple games, and storytelling activities to build early literacy skills in every child who walks through the door.
This Workshop is designed for:
School and community librarians, educators, and caregivers
What to expect?
A toolkit of actionable ideas the audience can use to promote early literacy.
