Create your own Board Game
Have children design their own board game with dice. The game could be based around any theme i.e. a story, nature, math, etc.
Play it together and talk about the mathematical thinking involved and also all the different vocabulary used in the game. You could use Snakes & Ladders or Ludo as the foundation of the game’s dynamics.
